Main Exhibits

The Main Building was constructed by the Centre’s staff in 1984 using lumber that was milled on the saw and planer mills currently found on the lower grounds. The main gallery is home to a variety of exhibits including rigging equipment, a Washington Steam Skidder model, the hands-on Forest Renewal exhibit and the Flitch Display. Newly displayed exhibits in this area include the Forest Ranger’s trailer, the De Star Wind Powered Saw Mill and the Loggers Eye Portraits.
