The museum is looking for volunteers for the following departments:
Education
Do you enjoy working outdoors and with children? The BC Forest Discovery Centre's education program needs volunteer tour guides to deliver ecology and heritage program. Full training is provided and committment level is flexible.
Special Events
Meet new people and have fun at popular community events by volunteering at the BC Forest Discovery Centre's special events. There are events happening montly throughout the spring and summer. Celebrate Steam, Canada Day, BC Day and the new Halloween Train have a great atmosphere and allow you to be involved with a valuable community organization without a large time committment. Typical events include volunteers in the following areas: parking lot attendants, concession, children's activities, programming, and set up.
