GIVING

The BC Forest Discovery Centre is operated by the BC Forest Museum Society.  We are a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency (Federal Charitable Tax number 0521195-50-28) and a non-profit society.

Community and corporate donations are an important part of the museum's continued operation and are always gratefully received.

Current Fundraising Campaigns

In the summer and fall of 2010 the museum is fundraising for a new train car and two heritage building restoration projects.  The 1954 Ranger Station and its four-car garage had a new roof installed in August and additional funding is needed to offset the cost of paint and supplies.  Also, the 1905 schoolhouse needs a new roof installed by volunteers, new paint, and minor exterior repairs.

To make a financial or in-kind contribution to help preserve these heritage buildings, please contact Aimee Greenaway, Curator at education.bcfdc (at) shawlink.ca or call (250) 715-1113 ext. 25.
